Contemporary and modern ceiling lights.
Our contemporary and modern ceiling lights come from legendary Baccarat of Paris and Barovier & Toso of Venice who have been fulfilling commissions from royalty and heads of state for centuries. The Exagon by Barovier & Toso for one, is made with transparent lotus leaves, embellished with tiny gold flakes or in pale colors, float in the air, lit by L.E.Ds, which highlight their forms. Three or five energy-saving halogen lamps are embedded in the chrome-plated plate. The L.E.D. holder has the same finish (available as an option). Domo Roterdam by Barovier & Toso is an elegant articulation of the classic yet contemporary and modern ceiling lights and brings to mind two Barovier & Toso lamps: Rotterdam and Amsterdam. The characteristic element is the rostrum with its typical, pointed elements. This comes in three versions with eight, twelve or sixteen lights and black, white or brown lampshades. Among our many contemporary and modern ceiling lights, the Matrioska by Barovier & Toso is an exemplary ceiling light and has the large lampshades, ribbed glass, and chrome-plated steel that are the characteristics of this family of drop lighting.
Four versions come in a straight line with from two to five lights, but there is also a square version with four lights. The shades come in black and white, and the glass comes in a range of seven colors. Optical by Barovier & Toso in Italy is a series of chandelier/ceiling lamps composed of a cascade of spheres crafted with a “bark-like” effect and hand-cut, on which the light of the halogen downlighters – up to 9, boxed into the chromed support – is reflected, creating attractive lighting effects. Three sizes are available, each in two heights, making a total of six models.
