The Barcelona coffee table is a modern classic reproduction designed by Ludwig Mies Van de Rohe during the Bauhaus era and is among one of the most visually iconic Bauhaus coffee tables. This modernist table is made from square clear glass and chrome X-shaped steel bar structure which can still work perfectly today in any interior design. The Le Corbusier coffee table with a glass top was initially exclusively made by Thonet. It was first displayed for public view in the 1929 edition of the “Salon d’Automme des Artistes Decorateurs” in Paris. This iconic reproduction piece is among the several timeless Bauhaus coffee tables designs that are standouts to this day among classic coffee tables. The Le Corbusier coffee table comes with a glass top resting on chrome plated steel tubing or in steel coated in matte black enamel and is available in various sizes.
The Laccio Rectangular classic coffee table was designed by Marcel Breuer and have been another classic since the Bauhaus era of furniture design. The Bauhaus coffee tables are made of shiny chrome plated tubular steel with black or white laminate tops. The Isamu Noguchi classic coffee tables are classic modern pieces. It has two identical black lacquered ash wood pieces joined in the middle with a pin, and a shaped clear glass top. The Kiesler Nesting tables are a modern classic coffee tables set famous for its two shapes that play off of each other while serving as a coffee table. The cast aluminum has a brushed finish.
